👩‍🧵 About Me – The Heart Behind Hastsaaj

Hi, I’m the hands and heart behind Hastsaaj.
A 49-year-old mom with a lifelong love for fabrics, colors, and creating something beautiful out of simple threads.

For years, I stitched, sewed, and gifted handmade creations to family and friends—never imagining that one day, it would grow into something bigger. But passion has its own way of blooming, even at 49. Hastsaaj was born from that very bloom—a blend of tradition, emotion, and the courage to begin again.

✨ What is Hastsaaj?

हस्तसाज – परंपरेला आधुनिकतेचा साज
A Marathi phrase close to my heart. It means “A touch of modernity to tradition.”
Each piece I create—be it a potli, pouch, or purse—carries this spirit. Handcrafted, not factory-made. Rooted in our culture, but styled for today’s world.

❤️ Why I Do This

Hastsaaj is more than a business.
It’s my story of starting fresh at 50, of finding confidence in creativity, and of celebrating our Indian textile heritage one stitch at a time. It’s also a love letter to all the women who balance family, responsibilities, and still manage to dream.

🌿 What Makes Hastsaaj Special?

  • Handmade with Heart – Every piece is personally crafted by me, ensuring warmth and individuality.

  • Tradition Meets Trend – I blend traditional fabrics and embroidery with clean, modern designs.

  • Made for Gifting & Cherishing – Whether it’s a wedding, festival, or just a thoughtful gesture, Hastsaaj products are made to be treasured.

🧵 From My Hands to Yours

Thank you for supporting handmade.
Thank you for believing in small beginnings.
And thank you for letting a 50-year-old mom’s dream shine a little brighter every day.

With love,
Surekha Jadhav
